Thinkspace provided professional design and consultant services for the renovation and space optimization of 800 m2 of office space in Prince George for First Nations Health Authority (FNHA). The office was divided among three user groups: Nursing, Environmental, and Regional Team. The new renovation includes a 30-person boardroom, kitchen spaces, new reception area, nursing storage, shipping / receiving, plus open workstations and enclosed offices to allow for future expansion of staff.
An additional scope requirement was the production of record drawings for over 20 FNHA office locations across British Columbia, along with feasibility sketch options, to determine the maximum potential for staff numbers at each location. This was coordinated with FNHA’s company standards and intake form, on which Thinkspace also consulted.
The Prince George office included an art feature, with three artwork pieces to align with FNHA’s vision and its responsibility for the north central, north west, and north east regions of British Columbia. Thinkspace worked with FNHA to ensure the office renovation would appropriately highlight and feature the artwork.
This office tenant improvement was the first of a series that Thinkspace delivered for FNHA; similar work has also been completed in Surrey, Kamloops, and Port Hardy.
