New Senior Associate Announcement – Jason Mudry

June 4, 2025

We are very pleased to announce that Jason Mudry, Architect AIBC, AAA, LEED AP, MBA has been made a Senior Associate with Thinkspace. Jason joined Thinkspace in November 2024 and has already made significant contributions to the practice as an architect, project manager, and mentor to staff.

“Jason is someone who not only embodies all of our core values, but also inspires others to be continually curious and collaborate while maintaining a client focus on project delivery,” said Allan Francis, Principal at Thinkspace. “He has had an immediate impact with his ‘can do’ attitude and instinctive mentoring that have elevated recent projects, pursuits, and people.”

Prior to joining Thinkspace, Jason worked as both a registered architect in Alberta as well as for various public sector entities as an owner’s representative. The project work he completed includes a variety of institutional facility developments ranging from small renovations to comprehensive campus redevelopments. Jason has also worked with municipalities in drafting new zoning ordinances and previously sat as a member of a municipal planning commission. His professional work includes developing master plans and functional programs for both healthcare and post-secondary facilities.

Along with his architectural background, Jason is also LEED® AP and has been fortunate to be involved in two sustainability projects that have received Clean 50 awards. Additionally, he holds an MBA in business operations management, which allows him to bring a strong understanding of building operations costs and management to his design work.

“I’m thankful and excited by this opportunity,” said Jason. “I consider myself to be fortunate to be working alongside a team with such a great understanding of both the design and technical components of building and planning. Every day I’m inspired by the exceptional energy, talent, and dedication of all the Thinkspace team members I get to work with.  Their commitments to our clients and the projects are an inspiration, and it makes it easy to truly enjoy the work we get to do together.”

Jason has been working in the Thinkspace Surrey office, but he will be moving to our new Victoria studio in spring 2025 where he will oversee Vancouver Island-based projects and help grow the practice on the Island. Stay tuned to the Thinkspace LinkedIn page for additional details on our new office in the near future.

Congratulations, Jason, on this well-deserved recognition!
