Four questions with…

Where is your happy place?
The mountains! I love hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. Being originally from the relatively flat lands of Ontario, I don’t think I’ll ever get used to the beautiful landscape in BC and the Pacific Northwest.

What type of architecture / architect or design work inspires you?
I have always been intrigued by how the design of our environments affects our behaviour, emotions, and overall wellbeing. This can range from the cities and communities we live in to the spaces and buildings we occupy. Successful design should acknowledge and address the complexities of the context in which we are designing to achieve innovative solutions.

If you weren’t working in architecture, what would you be doing?
I’ve always thought that being a tattoo artist by day and a bartender by night would be a lot of fun!

What’s your favourite thing about working at Thinkspace?
The people. There is a wealth of knowledge, experience and passion in the people who work here, making it a welcoming and collaborative environment to work in.
