Mark grew up on a hobby farm in the Lower Mainland, and gained an appreciation for architectural design from his father at an early age.

He started out his professional career in custom home construction, but his passion was art, drawing,  sculpting, and building things. An early love of designing and hand rendering evolved into an interest in the technology side of construction.

Mark attended BCIT for architecture and building science, as well as Emily Carr University of Art + Design for industrial design.
