After university, Karen’s career took flight within a multidisciplinary conglomerate in the healthcare and institutional sectors, where she built a strong foundation in complex project delivery. Working with contractor teams and international consultants on high-rise residential projects sharpened her technical understanding and strengthened her pragmatic design sensibility. Her move to Canada became a launchpad for a broader perspective, where she worked with architectural firms and a development firm, gaining deeper insight into client priorities, project coordination, and the business side of architecture.
