Henk Kampman

Henk has over 25 years of experience in Architecture, Urban Planning and Project Management, while working for private and public organizations. He joined Thinkspace (formerly Renaissance-GHM Architects) in 2011.

As an expert planner, Henk Kampman has the ability to observe and manage the different perspectives in the planning and building process. Henk is a graduate in Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Delft, the Netherlands. He holds the esteemed Accredited Learning Environment Planner (ALEP) designation, a mark of excellence developed to reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities of a competent educational facility planner. He is an executive member of BC Chapter of the Association for Learning Environments and a committee member of the Surrey Board of Trade.

Projects Henk has worked on over the years have included inner city revitalization, city marketing, zoning by-laws, small and large residential, commercial and institutional development projects plus a wide range of Architectural health care, K-12 , multi-residential and commercial projects. Henk has recently completed the new construction of the Operations and Administrations Building and the upgrade of the Waste Water Treatment Plant in Lake Country, the master planning of the Mills Memorial Hospital in Terrrace, BC, and the extensive upgrade of an Elementary school in Merritt, BC.
