Kirsti Mathiasen

Kirsti is currently enrolled part-time in the RAIC Syllabus program to earn her professional license while furthering her career at Thinkspace. She appreciates being able to immediately apply her studies to real-world situations, enhancing the learning experience. Kirsti graduated from BCIT’s Architectural Science Degree program in 2015 after briefly studying systems engineering at SFU. Kirsti decided to pursue architecture at BCIT after working at GHMA (now Thinkspace) as a summer student several years ago.
Kirsti has worked on a variety of project types including K-12 schools, post secondary tenant improvements, seismic upgrades, auto-dealerships, and other commercial developments. She enjoys applying her attention to detail to all projects, during all stages and enjoys learning about new topics.
During her spare time, most of Kirsti’s free time is spent on the mountains or by a lake; she loves to be outdoors, whether being active or with friends or a good book. She also loves to travel and uses biking and skiing as an excuse to explore more of the Pacific Northwest, and the world.
