Thinkspace

Culture

Our thriving culture is based on a deep level of caring. We are genuinely interested and invested in the people we work with, the clients we serve, and the communities we help to shape. Curiosity is embedded in our culture and we are inspired by possibility.

Dedicated to continuous learning, we are driven by the unique challenges of each project – new problems mean new learning and the opportunity to shift the paradigm.

We are true believers in life-long learning. As active members of various professional associations, we frequently contribute to lectures, conferences, and tours.

Lunch and learns and design charettes are popular events in our office, and help us to keep up with the latest products, technologies, and architectural and planning trends and ideas.

The practice encourages and supports staff in attending continuing education courses in order to advance in their chosen career paths.

Several staff members have become Registered Architects, LEED® certified or received Accredited Learning Environment Planner (ALEP) designations since they started with Thinkspace.

We're also active members of the communities where we work and live. Our staff regularly participate in activities such as the Vancouver Sun Run and Pink Shirt Day, and our annual camping trip, which has been running for the last eight years.
