Intermediate-Senior Technologist

We currently have an immediate opportunity for an Intermediate-Senior Technologist to assist with design, construction document production, and coordination on a variety of projects. Candidates must present comprehensive and well-rounded qualifications, including:

  • Experience drafting detailed drawings for all delivery phases
  • Thorough understanding of construction detailing, working drawings and contract administration
  • Sound knowledge of building envelope systems, preferably for institutional projects
  • Well-versed in local building codes and construction methods
  • Experience leading small-medium size projects; coordinating consultants and project teams

What you need to be successful in the role:

  • 7-15+ years experience in an architectural office in Canada
  • Degree or diploma in Architectural and Building Technology from an accredited institution
  • Project coordination / project management experience
  • Institutional project experience: K-12 schools, post-secondary, civic and healthcare sectors
  • High level of proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam on a Windows platform
  • Experience with Sketchup, Photoshop, Lumion and Enscape would be an asset
  • Solid communication skills for a team-based working environment
  • Self-motivated with an inquisitive technical aptitude and design sense

Work Location: Surrey, Kelowna, or Victoria area
Salary: $30-$55/hour, based on experience
