About the Practice

Thinkspace Architecture® Planning Interior Design Ltd. is a client-focused design practice comprised of talented architects, planners, interior designers, and technical staff - supported by a strong administrative team - who are experts in solving complex challenges and taking advantage of unique opportunities. We have been providing professional architectural services since 1963.

Our highly collaborative teams – located in studios in Surrey, Kelowna, and Edmonton – work with clients across British Columbia and Alberta, as well as the western US, in the K-12 education, post-secondary education, health care, civic, and commercial sectors.

We are committed to design excellence and approach our work with a common set of values: curiosity, collaboration, commitment, a strong client focus, and accountability. These shared values shape the ways that we rise to the challenges and opportunities of each new project.

Thinkspace is proud to be a member of the Canada Green Building Council, the Surrey Board of Trade, and the Association for Learning Environments.

Our Design Philosophy

Our aim is to produce buildings of simple elegance and appropriate materials. Buildings that exploit design opportunities as they present themselves. Buildings that facilitate the aspirations of those who use them.
