Homestead High School Seismic Upgrade

Thinkspace is working with Quattrocchi Kwok Architects (QKA) on the seismic upgrade to Homestead High School in Cupertino, California. Just a mile away from the Apple headquarters in Silicon Valley, the school’s notable alumni include Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak.

In addition to seismically upgrading the school, the renovations will create flexible, 21st century learning classrooms and spaces, maximize daylight to corridors and breakout spaces, as well as bring the school up to the state's current codes and standards.

Construction will be carefully sequenced in order to keep all classes in session on the campus without requiring any temporary buildings.
