Vancouver General Hospital Electrophysiology Lab Renovation & CT Scan Move
Posted in News
Thinkspace has been retained by Vancouver Coastal Health for the design and construction of the Electrophysiology Lab Renovation and CT Scan Move. The existing Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, located within the Cardiac Services Department of the Vancouver General Hospital (VGH), has reached capacity. A fourth lab, used to perform Electrophysiology and other procedures, will be constructed on the Ground Floor of the Cardiac Services Department to facilitate the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders and provision of arrhythmia therapeutics. The redesign will include upgrades and modifications to the High Acuity Unit (HAU) stretcher area, expansion of the Clean Supply Room, expansion of administrative areas to improve flow, and relocation of the CT Scanner. The project is targeted for February 2020 completion.
