Stuart Kernaghan joins Thinkspace as Marketing & Business Development Manager

Thinkspace Architecture Planning Interior Design is pleased to announce that Stuart Kernaghan, MA is joining the firm in the newly created role of Marketing & Business Development Manager. Stuart brings more than two decades of marketing, communications, and business development experience – much of it in the architecture and construction sectors – to Thinkspace.

Stuart will be responsible for overseeing all marketing efforts for the firm’s Surrey, Kelowna, and Edmonton offices, and will be collaborating with Thinkspace’s senior leadership team on business development initiatives.

Stuart is coming to Thinkspace from DIALOG Architecture Engineering Interior Design Planning, where he spent the last three years overseeing external marketing and communications initiatives for the design practice’s Vancouver studio.

Prior to that, Stuart spent seven years at Ventana Construction Corporation, a Burnaby, BC-based general contractor and construction manager. He was responsible for all aspects of marketing at the company, and worked closely with senior management on business development efforts.

“I’m very excited to be joining Thinkspace in this important role,” said Stuart. “The firm is doing a lot of amazing design work these days, which is a marketer’s dream! I’m also looking forward to collaborating with the entire Thinkspace team to continue building on the firm’s recent growth.”

When he’s not at work, Stuart enjoys spending time outdoors. He’s an avid mountain biker and road cyclist, a skier, a hiker, and a photographer with a passion for landscape and outdoor lifestyle photography. Originally from Toronto, Stuart moved west and spent time in both Kelowna and Victoria, where he earned a Master of Arts degree, before settling in North Vancouver.

Stuart will be based out of the Thinkspace office in Surrey, but will be responsible for business development efforts across British Columbia and Alberta. Please feel free to reach out to him via email to discuss partnership and new project opportunities in any of Thinkspace’s key business sectors.
