New partner announcement – Allan Francis

Thinkspace is delighted to announce the appointment of Allan Francis, Architect AIBC, LEED® AP, as a partner in the practice.

Allan has been made a partner to recognize his significant and ongoing contributions to the practice over the past five years, including the Maddaugh, Douglas, and Edgewood elementary school projects, a new $200-million film studio complex, and numerous other civic and commercial projects that have come through the studio in that time.

Prior to joining Thinkspace in 2018, Allan worked at two national general contractors where he was part of the teams that delivered two separate public-private partnership healthcare projects. His experience on these roles will help ensure that Thinkspace drawings and services provided to construction partners are in line with industry expectations.

Allan’s addition to the existing partnership team, which includes Henk Kampman, Lee Blanchard, Ray Wolfe, and Todd Dust, will ensure the long-term viability of Thinkspace as one of Western Canada’s leading design firms. It will also serve to bolster Thinkspace’s ability to service clients in the growing civic and commercial sectors.

This expansion of the partnership group marks a significant milestone in the firm's 60-year history and serves to reinforce its dedication to delivering exceptional architectural solutions for clients.
