“We want to recognize that they are amazing architects, team players, and colleagues. These two individuals embody our values every day, and we know they’ll be integral in taking Thinkspace to the next level.”
Danika and Steven share a strong commitment to design and architecture that is expressed in their contributions to Thinkspace.
Whether it's a school or a hospital wing, Danika is passionate about creating spaces that will benefit people through learning, healing, and social connections while also reducing the industry's impact on the environment.
Steven is very passionate about carbon in architecture and is working to help the firm take the next step towards a low-carbon future. He is leading the sustainability initiatives in the office and helping project teams understand the impact of their designs without compromising design excellence.
Both architects have been, and are, involved in several K-12 Thinkspace projects. Danika was the design architect for the new Ta’talu Elementary School in Surrey, and will be an integral member of the project team for an upcoming design-build secondary school in the Okanagan. Steven is currently working on a new design-build elementary school in Whitehorse, YT as well as the project definition report for a new elementary school in New Westminster.
Beyond that, Danika and Steven are well-rounded architects with a wealth of diverse experience. Danika has worked on planning and healthcare projects as well, while Steven is leading the design team of a large multi-functional church building and has worked on several civic projects.
