Belmont Secondary Opened
With the start of the new School Year in September, Phase One of Belmont Secondary School opened with great applause. Phase One includes the Large Atrium/Classroom wing along with Administration, Learning Commons, the large Multipurpose Room and Gymnasium. Completion of the Shop and Music Wing is scheduled for the end of October, providing wonderful teaching spaces for these programs.
- The Learning Commons has impressive impact at the front and centre of the School.
- The multi-storey Atrium is a very interesting space with loads of natural light flooding down to all levels from the upper clerestory windows.
- Views from the Learning Commons are incredible which add to the serenity of the Library space.
- Fun and interesting spaces are created thru a use of bright coloured glass, piano key lockers, bright stairs and natural wood paneling.
