We’re very proud to announce that our own Leonard (Len) Rodrigues Architect, AIBC, AAA (Life Member), FRAIC (Life Member), RPP, MCIP, senior architect and senior planner at Thinkspace, has been recognized for his contributions to architecture in the province of Alberta with the Tom Sutherland Award.

It’s a big deal for intern architects to complete their internship and become a registered architect in British Columbia. Early in July, one of our intern architects, Osman Ozakcayli, completed all of the necessary requirements and is now registered! We thought it would be fun to hear some thoughts on architecture from this new Architect AIBC.

It can be easy to take things for granted, especially when you see them every day. Case in point – the ficus tree that made its home in the staff kitchen of the Thinkspace Surrey studio for most of the last decade.

This past year has been a challenge for most companies due to COVID-19, and Thinkspace is no exception. But we’ve learned some valuable lessons in the process, and are actually finding ways to thrive in this new normal.
